The state failed to provide me justice after six years: Bisma Amjad

Bisma Amjad, the daughter of Shaheed Tanzeela Amjad who was martyred in Model Town, has said former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar had called her into his office and asked her to focus on education and pledged to dispense justice. She said the commitment of any head of an institution is, in fact, the commitment of the entire institution but added in the same breath that the word given by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has not been implemented to date....

Daughter of Model Town prisoner Abdul Latif laid to rest

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Bushra Bibi, the 14-year-old daughter of Abdul Latif who is serving a term in Bhakkar jail in the Model Town case, passed away after suffering from a lungs disease. He said that despite efforts, the incarcerated father did not get the permission to see the face of his dead daughter for the last time as she was laid to rest amid sobbing and tears last night....
